As we age, so do our parents and loved ones. To better prepare ourselves for what’s to come, the Dobson Ranch Library will be holding a series of workshops entitled “Resources for Your Aging Loved Ones.” These session will be held Thursday, Jan. 24 and again on Thursday, Jan. 31 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Elaine Poker-Yount, Community Liaison for Visiting Angels, will provide attendees with unique and hard to find resources for senior citizens and their family members. Poker-Yount will outline important information, clarify common misconceptions, help you to avoid elder care scams and equip you with information so you can find the right options for your family.
The Dobson Ranch Library is located at 2425 S. Dobson Road. These sessions are free and open to the public. For more information, please call Mesa Librarian, Shannon Lyon at (480) 644-4710.
