Public invited to take Transportation Plan survey

Public invited to take Transportation Plan survey
Mesa, AZ – The “This is My Mesa” campaign encourages residents to get involved in the process to update the City’s General, Transportation and Transit Plans. This is a chance for the public to share opinions about the City’s transportation system via an online survey.  Residents are also invited to provide feedback at public meetings and by e-mail through the project Web site.
The survey questions will ask about your preferred mode of transportation, your experience traveling in Mesa, traffic, safety and public transit. To complete the survey, visit and click on the survey link.
State law requires written procedures to include public involvement in the updating of a community’s general plan, which must be approved by voters every 10 years. The update is scheduled to be on the Nov. 2014 ballot.
“This is My Mesa” is based on the iMesa initiative, a grassroots effort to collect residents’ ideas for transformative projects in the City.  Residents can access information and learn more about participating at
