Registration open for youth Splish,Splash and Dash

Mesa, AZ – Join us for the 2nd annual Mesa Youth Sports Splish, Splash and Dash on Saturday, April 6 at Skyline Aquatic Center, 845 S. Crismon. Youth in grades 1-12 will compete in a run, swim and obstacle course race. In addition to the race, families can participate in the fun zone with inflatables, games, vendors and food from 8 a.m. to noon.
 
Three divisions for the race are:
Grades 1-3 starts 9 a.m. Events: 50 meter swim, .5 mile run and obstacle course.
Grades 4-6 starts 8:30 a.m. Events: 100 meter swim, 1 mile run and obstacle course.
Grades 7-12 starts 8 a.m. Events: 400 meter swim, 2 mile run and obstacle course.
                       
Registration is now open online at: www.mesaaz.gov/parksrec or drop it off the Parks and Recreation Office, 200 S. Center, Building 1, Mesa, AZ 85210
                       
Mesa Youth Sports is also offering free clinics to prepare for the competition. Two free clinics will be held at the Skyline Aquatic Center on Saturday, March 16 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Wednesday, March 20 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.  
 
The clinics will provide instruction on running and swimming and transitioning between events.
