Archaeologist for a Day at Mesa Grande Cultural Park

Mesa, AZ – On Saturday, March 23, Mesa Grande Cultural Park, 1000 N. Date St., invites you to participate in a “HANDS-ON” archeological experience! Learn from real archaeologists about the amazing Hohokam people on a guided tour of this ancient platform mound. Try your hand at the ancient Hohokam ball game, and contribute to this amazing pre-historic site with hands-on restoration of the mound, and ball court!
The Archeology Family Day and Restoration Event program will run from 10:30 a.m. to noon. The cost is $2 for museum members and $6 for non-members. Pre-registration is required. Be sure to book early, as there are a limited number of spots available. Come prepared for some messy, muddy, fun!
