Special Earth Day Family Storytimes at Mesa Public Libraries

The City of Mesa Solid Waste Management Department will present a special Earth Day themed storybook reading featuring the book, "Recycle Every Day!" by Nancy Elizabeth Wallace during preschool story time reading sessions at all three Mesa Public Library branches throughout the week of April 15th.

The book will be read by City of Mesa staff members in honor of Earth Day at 10:30 a.m. on the following dates:  

  • Tuesday, April 16th: Main Library, 64 E. First St. 
  • Wednesday, April 17th: Dobson Ranch Branch, 2425 S. Dobson Rd.
  • Thursday, April 18th: Red Mountain Branch, 635 N. Power Rd.

Charlie the Recycling Chimp mascot will also be making a special guest appearance at all three sessions and young guests will have the chance to receive a special Earth Day souvenir.
