Food for Fines

Mesa, AZ – Bring in a non-perishable food item to one of the four branches of the Mesa Public Library and $1of overdue fines will be waived.
“We believe that community matters at your library,” Mesa Library Director, Heather Wolf said. “For every non-perishable food item donated $1 will be waived, so if you bring in three cans of food, $3 will be waived. It’s a win-win opportunity for both our patrons and the United Food Bank.”
Food for fines will be going on from now till April 30. All donated food items will support the United Food Bank.
Mesa Public Library has four branch locations:
- Mesa Main Library, 64 E. First St.
- Dobson Ranch Library, 2425 S. Dobson Rd.
- Red Mountain Library, 635 N. Power Rd.
- Mesa Express Library, 2055 S. Power Rd., Suite 1031
