Teen volunteer job fair at Mesa Library

Mesa, AZ – Mesa Public Libraries will be holding job fairs for teens ages 12 to 18 and entering seventh through 12 grade to fill positions for the Summer Reading Program.  The Summer Reading Program runs from Thursday, May 30 through Saturday, July 27.
 
Teen volunteers will assist in the following areas:
·         Summer Reading Program desk aides
·         Teen computer aides
·         Self-checkout assistants
·         Shelving positions
·         Program craft aides
·         Miscellaneous duties assistants
 
Teens should come prepared to interview and if accepted must commit to volunteering a minimum of one to two hour shifts per week. A parent or legal guardian must be present with the teen to be interviewed for a volunteer position.
 
The volunteer job fair will be held on:

Saturday, April 20 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Red Mountain Library, 635 N. Power Road in the Program Room.

Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Main Library, 64 E. First Street in the Saguaro Room. 
 
Saturday, May 4 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Dobson Ranch Library, 2425 S. Dobson Road in the Meeting Room.
