Arizona Big Train Operators showcase model trains at Mesa Library

Mesa, AZ –The Arizona Big Train Operators (ABTO) is back again this year bringing more model trains and sceneries to share. The free exhibit will run from July 29 to Aug. 3 at the Mesa Main Library, 64 E. First St.
Train enthusiast will experience more than 300-feet of G-scale tracks with double main lines, garden size trains (1.5 to 2 times the size of O-scale Lionel trains), and dioramas with scenes from Arizona rail towns. Parents and children will have the opportunity to operate the trains. ABTO members will be on hand to answer questions and provide historical information about the Arizona railway.
A raffle prize drawing for two free coach tickets on the Grand Canyon Railway, valued at $140 will be given away along with other prizes.
The Main Library is located at 64 E. First St. The free train exhibit is held in the Saguaro Room. Exhibit hours are Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information please visit the Library’s website: http://www.mesalibrary.org
