Mesa, AZ – Mesa is seeking all residents who are interested in a unique opportunity to explore innovative ideas to improve their city, collaborate with a broad network, learn about opportunities, engage in smart discussions, make new friends and have fun.
Started by Code for America, Code Across is a multi-city civic hacking event that takes place in more than 50 locations around the world. Developers, designers, researchers, public servants, policy makers and local residents work together to improve their communities using the people and power of the web. In the past, groups have built apps, explored datasets, and inspired tech savvy citizens and civic innovators to transform government services.
THINKspot, located in the Red Mountain Branch Library, 635 N. Power Road, will host Mesa’s Code Across event on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Everyone interested in using data and technology to help make our community better is invited to attend.
