Mesa, AZ
– We Make History, the only reenactment group of its type active in the southwestern United States, is participating in the Republic Services Arizona Celebration of Freedom in Mesa Friday, July 4.  The group will perform Revolutionary War reenactments at approximately 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. at the “coolest” Independence festival in Arizona.

We Make History portrays the soldiers and civilians of both the American and British sides as well as specific Founding Fathers, including General George Washington.

During the reenactments, black powder firearms will be in use.  They are not dangerous to spectators but produce loud gunshot sounds.

The Republic Services Arizona Celebration of Freedom is Friday, July 4 from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the Mesa Amphitheatre and Mesa Convention Center, 263 N. Center St., and along Center Street between Second Street and University Drive.  For more information, visit www.azcelebrationoffreedom.org.
