Bicycle Commuting Workshop

Mesa, AZ – Avid and novice cyclists who are looking to commute to work can attend this free workshop on “Bicycle Commuting 101.” The workshop is held on Wed., Aug. 20 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Red Mountain Library, 635 N. Power Road in the Program Room.
Representatives from the Mesa Transportation Department and Valley Metro will educate riders on having the right equipment and training on how to be a safe cyclist.
All participants will receive bicycle lights, helmets, and educational materials needed to stay safe on the road. Additional information such as future bike events, new bike paths and lanes in Mesa will also be discussed.
