A volunteer experience that is 4.5 billion years in the making!

Mesa, AZ – Once a year, Arizona Museum of Natural History (AzMNH) 53 N. Macdonald, offers a gallery interpreter training.  If you are interested in natural history, like interacting with people and enjoy life-long learning – this is the time to give us a call.  The Gallery Interpreter training course will be held on six consecutive Mondays: Sept. 30, Oct. 7, 14, 21, 28 and Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The training will cover archaeology, paleontology, geology, interpretation techniques, customer service and how it relates to the museum. You will be trained in all exhibition areas of the museum. After training, you are asked to commit to one shift per week as a Gallery Interpreter.
