This free event will provide parents with a child I.D. card, including a photo and fingerprints on a CD and a DNA swab. Bring the family and learn from crime prevention officers and our missing persons unit about keeping your children safe, what to do if your child is missing and how to register your bicycles. Mesa Police Citizen Police Academy Begins

The next Mesa Police Citizen Police Academy (CPA) begins today and runs through November 13. The CPA is designed to provide participants with an understanding of the operations and resources of the Mesa Police Department. Participants will interact with police executives and veteran officers during the academy. This is not the recruit academy. You must have submitted an application and have been accepted to attend.
