A new hang-out spot just opened up for kids ages eight to 15. The Red Mountain Multigenerational Center recently opened a Youth Activity Room for pre-teens and teens to enjoy billiards, foosball, music, movies and interactive games.
“Our goal is to provide a safe environment while parents are either working out at the gym or taking one of our recreation classes,” Mesa Parks, Recreation and Commercial Facilities Coordinator, Marc Beasley said. “They’ll be having so much fun that they probably won’t want to leave.”
The Youth Activity Room is open Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Kids can play foosball, billiards, board games, and will enjoy age appropriate interactive gaming via Wii and Xbox systems. Supervision is provided by a City employee. Fees are congruent with regular admission to the Red Mountain Multigenerational Center and can be found online at: http://mesaaz.gov/parksrec/RMMC/pdfs/AdmissionPassFees.pdf. The Red Mountain Multigenerational Center is located at, 7550 East Adobe Mesa, AZ 85207.
