Arizona Museum of Natural History, 53 N. Macdonald in Mesa, is hosting a Webelo Scout Geology Day, Sunday, Nov, 18 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 pm. Plan to earn your geology badge while having fun making a rock collection, learning about volcanoes and making fossil imprint casts. This action filled afternoon will fulfill all requirements for the Geology Badge; to view a complete list of activities, visit our website at http://www.azmnh.org.
Don’t miss this rock-‘n party! Unique, fun, hands on learning experiences are designed for Webelo Scouts, but are sure to capture the imagination, and bring out the geologist in any child. The cost is $2 for museum members and $6 for nonmembers. Pre-registration is required. Please contact Alice Jung at (480) 644-3553 or by email alice.jung@mesaaz.gov. For more information about the Arizona Museum of Natural History visit http://www.azmnh.org.
