SRP work planned along McDowell between Greenfield and Val Vista

SRP will be replacing 13 wooden poles with same size metal poles along McDowell Road between Greenfield and Val Vista.  Work is planned to start April 10th and last about 4 weeks. 

Letter from SRP:

As part of our ongoing efforts to deliver low-cost, reliable power, SRP will be upgrading a series of power poles in your Mesa neighborhood.
The project will take place along McDowell Road from Greenfield to Val Vista. The project then continues north along Val Vista to the canal where it will continue west along the canal for a little more than a ¼ mile. SRP will be replacing a total of 13 wood structures with new poles of similar height. This project entails transferring the conductor/wire to the new poles along this entire stretch.

This project is anticipated to commence April 10 and is anticipated to last approximately 4 weeks. At times during the project, there may be road restrictions westbound along McDowell and northbound on Val Vista to the canal. Please drive with caution.

SRP does not anticipate a lengthy power outage during pole replacement and every effort will be made to prevent accidental outages; however, you may experience temporary power outages as crews disconnect and reconnect existing lines. For any extended outages, you will be notified in advance.
