Mesa, AZ – Celebrate Mesa is back at Pioneer Park, 526 E. Main St., on Saturday, April 20 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
This free event will be jammed packed with carnival games and rides, music, live entertainment, a zip line, rock wall, bounce houses, food vendors and so much more. Mesa Solid Waste Department will show off its new CNG trash vehicle and Metro will have their LINK bus on display. New this year is a Community Stage where local talent will perform musical acts, martial arts and other live performances.
Admission is free but there is a $2 fee for the zip line.
“We want our residents to come out and enjoy the beautiful spring weather,” Mesa Parks, Recreation and Commercial Facilities Director Marc Heirshberg said. “Celebrate Mesa is an opportunity for us to give back to the community and I can’t think of a better way of doing it than with a free party in the park!”
Raffle prizes, including museum and pool passes, restaurant coupons and a $100 gift card to Fiesta Mall will be given away.
Sponsors of Celebrate Mesa include SRP, KVIT-FM (The Goldmine), City of Mesa, Playful City USA and Foundation for Mesa Parks and Recreation.
