Volunteer Coaches Needed for Youth Soccer and Flag Football Leagues

Do you love kids and sports? Well, we have the perfect volunteer opportunity for you. City of Mesa Youth Sports is looking for volunteer coaches for our soccer and flag football leagues. Our leagues focus on having fun, teaching the proper fundamentals and skills, being active and understanding the importance of physical activity, learning to play as a team, and developing good sportsmanship. Coaches will be responsible for attending and running one practice each week in addition to one game a week. Practice date, time and location will determined by the coach. Coaches will be the main contact with parents and players and should have great communication skills. Coaches are asked to commit to the entire season.
Mandatory coaches training on Saturday, September 21
Volunteer application, Background check, fingerprinting, and ID badge completed by Monday, September 16 @ 8 am
Clearing of background test and fingerprinting test will be required for coaching.
Games are Tuesdays, October 15-November 19, plus Saturday, November 23 for tournament
Hohokam Fields and Escobedo Park
Game times are between 5:30-8:30 pm
Games are Saturdays, October 19-December 7
Quail Run Soccer Complex
Game times are between 9:30am-1:30 pm
