March 5 @ Cubs Park
5-6pm Onsite registration and check in
6:15pm Event starts
Boys and Girls, Ages 7-14
Participation is FREE!
The City of Mesa Youth Sports is excited to be partnering with the Chicago Cubs in hosting the local level of MLB’s Pitch, Hit & Run competition. Events include pitching accuracy, hitting distance off of a tee and quickness on the base path. Kids will compete for a chance to advance to the National Finals held at the 2014 MLB All-Star Game! Cubs players will also be there to meet and cheer on the kids. The overall boy and overall girl winner in each division will receive two free tickets for them and a parent/guardian to the Sunday, March 9 spring training game of the Chicago Cubs vs. the Milwaukee Brewers. Winners will be introduced down on the field during the game.
Visit www.mlb.com/phr for rules and to pre-register. Please print out a copy of your registration form and bring it to the event. Registration is also available on-site before the event. All participants must also submit a City of Mesa waiver signed by a guardian. A copy of birth certificate or baptismal records is required for advancing participants. No metal spikes allowed.
Youth Sports’ Day at the Ballpark

Continue the fun by joining us for Youth Sports’ Day at the Ballpark on March 9. Bring the whole family out to watch the Chicago Cubs take on the Milwaukee Brewers in the brand new stadium. Be sure to wear your Youth Sports shirt! Tickets to the game can be purchased at www.cubs.com or at the Cubs Park box office.
