“This year we have seen an out pouring of support in both local and national sponsors,” Arizona Disabled Sports Executive Director, Lane Gram said. “Most notable is the Heisman Trophy Trust and their sponsorship of the War Fighter Sports Programs of Disabled Sports USA. They have selected our Games as one of their primary events to sponsor this year.”
The Games will be at the following locations:

  • Skyline Aquatic Center, 845 South Crismon Road, Mesa, AZ 85208 - Swimming
  • Usery Mountain Park, 3939 North Usery Pass Road, Mesa, AZ 85207 – Archery
Leading up to The Games, a military camp will be hosted by U.S. Paralympics from Monday, May 13 through Wednesday, May 15 at Luke Air Force Base, 4185 W. Falcon Street. Twenty-five veterans from across the U.S. and two from Arizona will participate in the track and field camp and then participate in the Desert Challenge Games.
The Desert Challenge Games has also been selected as one of six events of the IPC (International Paralympic Committee) Athletics Grand Prix. This competition is the only Grand Prix event to take place in the United States.
