When: Saturday, May 17th 7am-10am
Where: Near Mesa Dr & Brown

What: We need your help as we continue our City of Mesa Love Your Block initiative at retention basin 419! Volunteers are needed to paint exterior walls that enclose the basin as well as pass out information on reporting graffiti in the neighborhood.

Love Your Block is a tested, high-impact service strategy in which the City of Mesa Mayor's Office engages community members in revitalizing their neighborhoods one block at a time. Through Love Your Block Mesa, the Mayor's Office, in partnership with Cities of Service, Mesa City Council and City Manager's Office, will draw on the strong tradition of service already present within our community. Residents will contribute in building their community, assisting other residents and maintaining quality neighborhoods through volunteer supported activities.

The minimum age for this project is 13. Volunteer's ages 16 & 17 who wish to participate without a parent/guardian must bring a signed Youth Waiver Form with them to the project.
