Mesa, AZ – New Year’s resolutions come and go but the 5K/10K Run, Walk and Roll event, benefiting Arizona Disabled Sports, is here to stay. This is the sixth year Mesa is hosting the event held on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015 at Riverview Park, 2100 W. Rio Salado Pkwy. Participants of all ages and ability levels are encouraged to sign up.
“This year, we’ve changed our venue,” Arizona Disabled Sports Director, Lane Gram said. “We are excited to bring the race back to Mesa by hosting it at Cubs Park and Riverview Park. I encourage the entire community to come out and support our athletes by participating in the race, volunteering, or being a spectator. It’s not only a great family event but also a great way to start off the New Year.”
Kids can also join in on the fun during the half-mile Kid’s Fun Run for only $15. Fees for the 5K, 10K, and 1 mile Fitness Walk are $30. Price will increase to $35 on Jan. 5 and $40 day of the race. Team discounts are also available. Register 10 team members and receive two free entries or register 20 team members and receive five free entries.
