Living plants are still required to reach 50% coverage of the grass area that will be converted to Xeriscape. You cannot replace the current grass solely with artificial turf alone.

Unfortunately, your completed project is ineligible. Only landscapes with currently living grass qualify.

In order to qualify, you must have a minimum of 500 square feet of living grass you would like to remove.

A Xeriscape with new living plants is required for this incentive. Artificial turf alone will not qualify for the incentive.

In order to qualify, you must have a minimum of 50% coverage (via plant canopy) with low-water use plants where the grass is living now. Plants near the area where the grass will be removed do not count towards coverage. Low-water use plants currently in the grass area will count.
